Jessica Shelley set a new personal best in a victory in the 100-meter hurdles, Renay Ransaw tied for first in the long jump and UAB won the 4x400-meter relay, as the track and field team wrapped up the Battle of I-65 on Saturday at Samford University.

The UAB track and field team will begin its 2015 outdoor campaign this Saturday with a trek across town for the Battle of I-65 at Samford University.

The UAB track and field team wrapped up action at the Conference USA Track and Field Indoor Championships Thursday at the Birmingham CrossPlex with third-place finishes from Shelby Barker and Jenna Wesley.

The 2015 Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship is now scheduled to begin on Thursday at 11 a.m. CT.

The UAB track and field team will return to the Birmingham CrossPlex for its fifth indoor meet as a team, when the Blazers compete in the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for Thursday.

The UAB track and field team received a trio of top-six finishes in the 3,000-meter run at the Samford Invitational Friday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
